John’s current band Category 7 is a supergroup of sorts featuring current and ex members of Exodus, Shadows Fall, Testament, Prong, Overkill, Machine Head & Vio-Lence backing the Armored Saint / Anthrax singer, and it will be members of Category 7 — along with his Armored Saint bandmate, bassist Joey Vera, that back him on these Anthrax shows that Category 7 will also open. The three dates are December 13 at the Whisky A Go-Go in Los Angeles, December 18 in St. Charles, Illinois at the Arcada Theatre, and December 20 in New York City at Racket.
