MANCHESTER, N.H. —
The state fire marshal’s office is investigating a fire at a mobile home on Bunker Lane in Madbury.
Officials say multiple calls about the fire came in just before midnight Thursday. When first responders arrived, they found a single-family home on fire and learned the sole occupant was unaccounted for.

Authorities say firefighters worked for several hours to extinguish the fire. Crews were initially unable to access all areas of the home due to a roof collapse.
Once the crews extinguished the fire, they located a deceased man inside the home.
The victim’s name has not yet been released.
Officials say the fire remains under investigation and is not currently considered suspicious.
