Schreiner Group has appointed Mark Wright as chief financial officer (CFO), overseeing the company’s global commercial organization across its facilities in Oberschleissheim and Dorfen, Germany; New York, USA; and Shanghai, China.

Wright succeeds Karl Tschacha, who held the role for 15 years and played a key role in developing the commercial structures of the family-owned technology company. Tschacha will transition into a senior management consultant role, advising the company’s leadership, advisory council, and shareholders.

Wright brings more than 25 years of international leadership experience to the position. Prior to joining Schreiner Group, he spent 26 years with Giesecke+Devrient, most recently serving as CFO of the company’s real estate business. He also previously served as CFO of the group’s Canadian subsidiary.

In his new role, Wright will oversee finance, controlling, purchasing, IT, facility management, and commercial operations across Schreiner Group’s international entities. He says the position combines financial management with strategic initiatives such as digitalization and international expansion.

“The market is clearly evolving away from the simple label toward data-based value-adding solutions,” Wright says. “RFID, digitalization, and smart data are decisive growth drivers for our target markets.”

Schreiner Group CEO Roland Schreiner says Wright’s international experience and strategic perspective will support the company’s continued growth.

“In Mark Wright we’re gaining a CFO with strong international experience and a strategic view,” Schreiner says. “He will provide important impetus for economic management and the further development of Schreiner Group.”

Schreiner Group develops functional labels and smart packaging solutions for sectors including healthcare, mobility, electronics, and logistics.
