Two people are hurt and an arrest has been made after an accidental shooting at a Kroger store in Maineville.Hamilton Township Police said the shooting happened at the Kroger store on State Route 48 around 7:30 p.m. on Friday evening.Hamilton Township Police chief Scott Hughes said two people are being treated for minor injuries. One victim was taken to Bethesda North Hospital and another was taken to UC Hospital.It’s not known how old the victims are.Late Friday night, Hughes said an arrest was made and the shooting appeared to be accidental. The suspect’s name has not been released.Hughes said police believe someone was firing shots on a nearby property, with one round entering the store and hitting the two victims.Police said there is no threat to the public. The Kroger store closed for the rest of Friday night and several nearby roads are also closed. Customers were evacuated from the store after the shooting. Hamilton Township Police is leading the investigation. The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives are also investigating.
