AAC to consider $2.7 million bid for renovation of two golf courses

The Amenity Authority Committee will consider a $2.7 million bid for the renovation of two golf courses.

The courses to be renovated are the El Santiago Executive Golf Course and the El Diablo Executive Golf Course. The AAC will meet at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at Savannah Center.

The work will include:

• Reconstruction of greens, tees, and fairways

• Full-course re-grassing

• Installation of Certified TifEagle Bermuda grass

• Extensive earthwork and re-grading

• Irrigation modernization, including IC control conversion, maxi-wire, swing joints, and rotor heads

• Drainage basin restoration and installation of new greens loops
