Juvenile arrested following weekend shooting; one person injured

A juvenile was arrested following a shooting that left one person injured Saturday, Marshall police said.
Police responded to a report of a shooting in the 1300 block of Melanie Street in Marshall at approximately 3 p.m. Saturday, police said in a Facebook post Monday.
At the scene, officers found a person with a gunshot wound. The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment of a non-life-threatening injury.
Police apprehended a juvenile suspect and transported the suspect to the Willoughby Juvenile Detention Center, police said in a statement. Police did not release additional information because of the suspect’s age.
