Metallica has expanded its upcoming Las Vegas Sphere residency once again, adding 10 new dates and bringing the total run to 24 shows as demand continues to surge for the band’s immersive concert experience.

The heavy metal legends will now perform at the state-of-the-art Sphere from October 2026 through March 2027 as part of the band’s “Life Burns Faster” residency. Newly announced shows are scheduled for February 4 and 6, February 18 and 20, February 25 and 27, and March 3 and 5, as well as March 11 and 13, 2027.

The residency has steadily grown since its initial announcement. Metallica first revealed eight dates before expanding the run by six additional performances. The latest announcement adds another 10 shows, with the band signaling that the expansion marks the final stretch of the residency, stating, “This is it — we’re maxing out Life Burns Faster.”

Similar to the band’s ongoing “M72 World Tour,” the Sphere residency will feature completely unique setlists for each performance. Shows are scheduled on Thursdays and Saturdays, allowing fans to attend multiple nights without hearing the same songs twice.

Notably, the residency has faced criticism from fans following the initial ticket sale, with many taking to social media to voice frustration over high ticket prices while others reported difficulties navigating Ticketmaster’s presale queue.
