Free agency has been going on since the NFL’s legal tampering period started on Monday at noon. We’re now in the second wave of free agency, with a lot of the big contracts already given out this week. The Washington Commanders signed eleven players from other teams through yesterday, including two wide receiver signings yesterday. Dyami Brown makes his return to Washington after a year in Jacksonville, and Van Jefferson was added for more depth. The Commanders brought another offensive lineman back, re-signing starting LG Chris Paul for one year. He was expected to get more interest in free agency, but he is a welcome return for Washington.

The new league year started on Wednesday at 4 p.m. ET. The Commanders now have the second-most available cap space in the NFL($69.2 million), but that number will continue to go down as they continue to add players, and contracts are finalized and entered into the system. They will need to continue signing players at various salary/skill levels, along with their six draft picks for April’s draft.

Which position(s) does Washington need more depth or starters at?
