I wonder what she’s dreaming about? Just about any lamb is going to be absolute perfection in my eyes. But there really is something so special about this sweet baby who was smiling while she was asleep. She’s so stinkin’ cute! I wish I knew what she was dreaming about. Whatever it is, I’m sure it’s just as precious as she is.
This is the smallest lamb in the world, I’m sure of it. Okay, so maybe that’s not technically true. But this sure is a cutie.
Honk-shoo, honk-shoo. The lamb was deep asleep in the video her human shared. It shows the poor baby knocked out, resting against the barn wall. She must’ve been tired! It looks like she’d been sleeping there for a long time.

The little lamb was probably in her REM state in the clip. She was definitely having some sweet dreams. You can tell by the smile on her face. This is one happy girl. It’s sort of fun to guess what she might be dreaming of. Oh! Maybe she’s dreaming of fields and fields of grass.
“Sweet dreams for the newest lamb ram on the farm!!!” the video’s caption reads.
Commenters online were so charmed.
“Look at that sweet sweet baby,” wrote one person.
“My babyyy,” someone else chimed in.
“Aww..straight out of a Disney cartoon, right?” asked another person.
“Look at its lil’ smile, aww,” praised one person.
How Long Do Lambs Sleep?
You know how you’re supposed to count sheep when you’re trying to go to sleep? Well you should probably try counting lambs! Lambs are good sleepers. They’ll knock out for about eight to 12 hours a day. That’s almost half of the day that they spend sleeping.
It makes sense because lambs are very active during the day. They’re busy trying their new legs and running around! Lambs basically spend their entire day playing. Then when they’re tired they scuttle back to their mama for comfort. They have big, full days, which requires big full nights of sleep!
