Guardians third baseman Jose Ramirez is being evaluated for a sore ​left shoulder after ‌leaving Sunday’s spring training game, Cleveland manager Stephen Vogt said Monday.

Ramirez, who is hitting .233 this ‌spring ​with two ⁠homers, two doubles ⁠and nine RBIs, sustained the injury when he slid into third base while ​stealing after hitting a double.

The Cleveland lifer, ⁠whose entire ⁠13-year major league career ​has come with the ​Indians/Guardians since his 2013 debut, ‌is a career .279 hitter with 285 home runs, 949 RBIs and 398 ⁠doubles across 1,609 games.

Ramirez, 33, is a seven-time All-Star and six-time ⁠Silver ‌Slugger, and has ⁠finished in the ​top ‌10 in American League ​MVP voting ⁠eight times, including a second-place finish in 2020 and third-place finishes in 2017, 2018 and 2025.
