Andre Drummond is taking a financial hit for his actions during Thursday’s game against the Sacramento Kings.
The NBA announced Saturday that the veteran centre had been fined $25,000 for making an “objectionable gesture on the playing court” with eight seconds remaining in the third quarter of the Philadelphia 76ers‘ 139-118 win.
After knocking down a three-pointer, Drummond appeared to make a shooting motion towards the Kings’ bench.
Drummond, 32, is in his 14th NBA season and second consecutive with the 76ers.
In 52 games for Philadelphia in 2025-26, the veteran centre is averaging 6.7 points, 8.7 rebounds and 0.8 blocks on 47.6 per cent shooting.
