Is there any type of cuteness as infectious or as adorable as baby animal cuteness? From how small and curious these tiny creatures are to how gentle and playful they can be, to the totally uninhibited ways they express their unique personalities, baby animals are pretty much the ultimate in total cuteness overload.
Now, it might sound like baby animals cannot possibly be any cuter based on all this. However, it is possible for baby animals to be even cuter than you realize. That is because when two baby animals meet each other for the first time, their precious reactions to each other are simply irresistible! Just take Sweetpea, the baby koala, and the baby emu that she “discovers” in this video, for instance.
In this precious video, Sweetpea’s curiosity definitely got the better of her! She had no idea who or what that baby emu was and simply had to investigate. And unsurprisingly, that baby emu was very curious about Sweetpea, too!
They meet each other at the same spot in the window, staring at each other, unsure what to make of each other. They might be thinking, “Well, I’ve never seen another emu/koala quite like you before!”

According to this video, Sweetpea has since been released into the wild, meaning her time at this rescue facility was a great success.
