LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) – Deputies were dispatched to the 1000 block of W. 18th St. after receiving a call about a shooting before 7:30 p.m.
One person was shot and taken to a memorial hospital, Deputy Kurt Russel said.
The apartment complex is located near the very end of the street, across from the City of Lake Charles wastewater division.
