Several dogs rescued after flames engulf structure in northwest Oklahoma City

We’re over *** fire and we actually, Francisco and I were able to see this fire. Prior to the, the fire trucks getting here and. Just about 5 minutes ago that white smoke, uh. It was all black. I mean it was black smoke rising up from there. The firefighters have just made entry moments ago into the front of the house. We saw *** lot of smoke billowing out the front door of the house, and they’ve made entry, so they’re fighting it from inside and outside. You can still see smoke rising up from the, uh, the entrance to the house. This is near, let me tell you exactly where this is, uh, this is near 10th and Western. So just to the northwest of the downtown buildings here in Oklahoma City. So, uh, just, it is, uh, west of Western and south of 10th Street. So If, uh, if you’re in this area and you’re seeing the smoke rising up, you can see *** firefighter in the flames right there, uh, actively trying to put out, put out this fire. Now when we first got on the scene, it was very active and it was just growing as, uh, those flames continued to overtake whatever was down there, uh, to burn, but you can see they’re, I mean they’re. Finding those uh those areas that they can put out as they walk around, but the uh this fire is far from over, it’s still very involved here on the north side of this house. It looks like *** porch area maybe, but we saw smoke rising up from the roof line. We saw smoke coming out of the front of the house. You can still see that smoke coming out from the front door as firefighters did make entry right into the front of the house, and they’re fighting it from, from the inside going towards the north. They’re on the roof now getting ready to cut some vent holes. Once they cut those vent holes, we’ll probably see some smoke rising up out of the roof line, but that will allow the fire to vent and it’ll it’ll help them get rid of some of that fuel that fuels the fire inside the home.
