Deer Creek Golf Course, located at 7691 East Liberty Street in Hubbard, has closed its doors, effective March 26, 2026.
The news was shared on the Deer Creek Golf Course website and on its Facebook page, citing “economic reasons” as the reason for the closure.
21 News has contacted a man who claims to be a partial owner of Deer Creek Golf Course, who says that there is no comment at this time.
Records from the Trumbull County Auditors website show that two parcels owned by Deer Creek Golf Course have incurred $17,127.75 in property taxes due in 2025. Penalties have also been incurred, and those figures are included in the over $17,000 owed.
It is unclear if the 2025 property taxes are related to the golf course’s decision to close.
