Los Angeles Lakers star Luka Dončić praised Caitlin Clark on Friday and discussed his desire to attend one of the Indiana Fever guard’s games during the 2026 WNBA season.

“I’m a big fan, for sure,” Dončić told reporters. “I watch a lot of games, definitely her hooping is great to watch. So, for sure I gotta go to one game to see her.”

Clark previously served as a guest photographer during the Lakers’ 137-130 win over the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday.

She also revealed that she’s looking to model her game after Dončić during an appearance on NBC’s pregame show ahead of a matchup between Los Angeles and the New York Knicks on Feb. 1.

“Luka’s amazing. He’s incredible,” Clark said at the time. “I think the way he can not only score the ball but also the way he passes. And I think the thing about him, he’s not always the fastest, he’s not the most athletic, but he can make a defender move to where he wants him to go and he takes up that space and he does a really good job of keeping the defender behind him or keeping him to the side. I think that’s something I can certainly learn from.”

The two-time WNBA All-Star is entering her third season with the Fever. Clark will hope for better health in 2026, as injuries limited her to just 13 appearances during her 2025 campaign.

Still, she averaged 16.5 points, 8.8 assists, 5.0 rebounds and 1.6 steals per game.

The Fever will kick off the 2026 regular season with a matchup against the Dallas Wings on May 9.
