The Sporting News’ latest mock draft has Miles securing her place as a top-three pick. TSN projects that Miles will be the second overall pick of the Minnesota Lynx — the WNBA’s best regular-season team in 2025.
“With Kayla McBride in their ranks, the Lynx don’t necessarily need a point guard,” writes TSN’s David Suggs. “But she’ll turn 34 before the end of the season. Miles figures to inject youth and skill into a championship-caliber roster.”
Miles’ passing ability is her standout trait and would have been worthy of a top-three selection in 2025, when she debated declaring for the draft a year early before opting to transfer to TCU.

That choice didn’t harm Miles’ draft stock one bit. She averaged 19.6 points, 7.2 rebounds and 6.6 assists per game as TCU finished with a 32-6 record.
“Few guards in recent college basketball history have flaunted passing skills quite like Miles, a dizzying ball-handler who has displayed sumptuous shooting over the years,” Suggs wrote.
