One person was transported to a hospital after a crash involving a fire truck and an SUV in Batavia on Thursday afternoon.The crash happened around 4 p.m. near Wood Street and North Fifth Street. A trooper at the scene with the Ohio State Highway Patrol said one person inside the SUV suffered minor injuries in the crash. According to OSHP, the fire truck was preparing to turn its lights on to be dispatched, when the SUV went in front of the truck, leading to the crash.
