It’s Friday at the 2026 Valero Texas Open.

The first round had a 90-minute rain delay to kick off play at TPC San Antonio’s Oaks Course on Thursday. Friday saw another pause although not quite as long, as lightning briefly interrupted the second round.

The winner this week will take home 500 FedEx Cup points and $1.764 million. And if that’s not enough, they’ll get a trophy and cowboy boots, too. An added bonus could be a Masters invite, if the winner on Sunday isn’t already in the field.

Follow along below for a recap, updates, scores, highlights and more from the second round of the Valero Texas Open. You can see Thursday’s highlights/recap here.
