Manchester United and Brazil midfielder Casemiro has shown how his trophy-winning mentality at Real Madrid carried over to his playing spell at Old Trafford.
Casemiro is in the tail end of his Manchester United playing spell and will leave the Premier League club at the end of the 2025-26 campaign at Old Trafford.
The 34-year-old veteran midfielder has been at the Red Devils since 2022 after Man Utd agreed to pay a deal worth £70m to bring him to England from Real Madrid.
Casemiro’s prolific spell in the Spanish capital came to an end after he captured an abundance of major silverware, including five Champions League trophies.

Along with his Champions League trophy haul, Casemiro lifted three La Liga titles and a Copa del Rey amid being an integral midfield presence at Real Madrid.
Speaking to Manchester United’s official website, the five-time Champions League winner answered a series of questions from United fans about his Old Trafford spell.
Casemiro was asked about the ‘most memorable thing’ from his Man Utd playing career and the Brazil international leaned towards his major silverware success.
“What stands out most for all players are titles,” he said.
“For me, it’s important to win all those important games because it is all about winning titles. So, the two titles I won stick with me.”

Casemiro’s first piece of major silverware with Man Utd came under Erik ten Hag after the Red Devils lifted the Carabao Cup trophy in his debut season at the club.
Former United manager Erik ten Hag was in the dugout for Casemiro’s only other piece of Red Devils silverware, which came with the FA Cup trophy win in 2024.
“We have also been in three other finals, but the two titles I won are the most important memories, as they are for all the careers of players and for the club,” Casemiro added.
However, Casemiro fell short of lifting major silverware under Ruben Amorim last season after Man Utd lost 1-0 to Tottenham in the 2025 Europa League final in Spain.
