“It seems Iran, despite being absolutely beaten down by America’s military might, if you look at it through an objective lens at the moment, Iran is gaining influence.”
The expert continued, “They are gaining authority. I think this post… If Donald Trump starts to reign hell and damnation on the electrical generating, that will be alienating the people even if it is legal.”

These comments follow Iran’s assertion of downing two American aircraft – an F-15E and an A-10 Warthog. According to Iran’s state-affiliated IRNA news agency, spokesperson Ebrahim Zolfaghari characterized Friday as a “humiliation” for America, crediting the achievement to newly developed “domestically-produced” air defense systems.
He additionally announced that Iran will “surely achieve full control of our country’s skies.” Sky News viewers were swift to share their perspectives on the development, with one user writing on X, “Hang on half a minute, I thought they were begging for a deal?”

“Trump’s options keep dwindling every day. Razing Iran to the ground is always an option for him but it won’t help US win the war. He should swallow pride and offer Iran something attractive for them to make a deal,” wrote someone else.
Elsewhere, a fifth viewer fumed, “Is he getting desperate now? Thanks to him and his mate will we the ordinary people be suffering the effects of this war?” while a sixth pointed out, “That the third time in three weeks that Iran is running out of time to make a deal.”
