Ansu Fati is still waiting to make his first appearance for Monaco after joining the Ligue 1 side on loan from Barcelona this summer.
The forward has also been tipped to miss the start of the season by manager Adi Hutter as the club aim to get him in the best shape possible.
A new report from Cadena SER has tried to shed some light on Fati’s current physical condition and injury problems have been ruled out.
The report quotes sources close to the player as insisting he is not suffering with any injuries, “is in perfect physical condition” and it’s all part of a “specific plan” to get him feeling 100%.
Fati’s ‘entourage’ have also seemingly taken aim at Barca and said the preparation is better at Monaco than the Catalan giants. “They prepare well there; they really want him,” is what their source says.
None of which really explains why Fati hasn’t played a single minute of Monaco’s pre-season and still doesn’t appear ready to play less than two weeks before the start of the new Ligue 1 season.
