NANAKULI (HawaiiNewsNow) – A full road closure is in effect in West Oahu.
The Hawaii Department of Transportation announced Farrington Highway is closed in both directions in the area of Black Rocks Beach Park due to a water main break.
Around 4 p.m. The Board of Water Supply announced crews are responding to a 24-inch main break between Piliokahi Avenue and Pohakunui Avenue.

Officials are asking motorists to avoid the area while crews respond to the issue.
Eastbound traffic is being detoured onto Laumania Avenue, then onto Pohakunui Avenue before reconnecting back onto Farrington Highway.
Westbound traffic is being detoured onto Pohakunui Avenue, then onto Piliokahi Avenue before reconnecting onto Farrington Highway.
