COVENTRY, R.I. (WJAR) — Seven people are displaced after an oil spill in a Coventry home.
The spill happened on Battey Avenue on April 4.
The Coventry Fire Department said that when firefighters arrived they found a large amount of home heating oil spilled in the basement after the storage tank it was in ruptured.

There were no injuries but water and electricity in the home were shut off as a precaution.
