Brooklyn Beckham suffered further embarrassment during his wedding to Nicola Peltz that he has not spoke of yet. The chef, 27, and Nicola, 31, tied the knot in a no-expense-spared ceremony in 2022 at a luxury mansion owned by the billionaire heiress’s parents.

Both the Peltz and Beckham families were present for the nuptials, along with a string of famous faces. However, while Brooklyn remains close to his in-laws, he has since distanced himself from his family.

Earlier this year, he took to social media, issuing a blistering statement, confirming that he had severed all ties with his family, and alleged that his mother, Victoria Beckham, called him “evil” after he chose to have his Nan, Sandra, and Nicola’s Naunni on their table at the ceremony due to them not having husbands. He also claimed mum Victoria ‘humilated’ him at the reception with an ‘innapropriate’ dance, that left his wife Nicola in tears. He ended his furious takedown by saying he’d never speak to his relatives again.

Now, fresh claims have surfaced surrounding Brooklyn’s wedding, involving a series of awkward blunders that involved his dad. According to The Cut, during the ceremony, Brooklyn was called by his dad’s name on multiple occasions including when he and his actress wife were exchanging their vows. A guest claims that the rabbi carrying out the ceremony called Brooklyn “David” during the intimate moment.

The source went on to claim that the rabbi was left stunned and “stuttered and asked for forgiveness,” before explaining he was a huge “soccer fan”. However, he made the blunder again before the ceremony ended.

One witness, according to the publication, described it as “uncomfortably Oedipal,” with many guests in attendance laughing it off. The news comes after Brooklyn missed out on yet another family milestone amid his feud with his relatives.

Over the weekend, the Beckham family jetted out to Miami to celebrate the completion of David’s $750 million football stadium, Miami Stadium, now named Nu Stadium, with Victoria sharing a gushing tribute to her husband as she and the family posed together.

The former Spice Girls star penned: “What an incredible night last night!!! We couldn’t be prouder @‌davidbeckham watching you turn your dream into reality inspires us all every day x. We love you so much!!! @‌romeobeckham @cruzbeckham @‌harperbeckham @jackie.apostel @‌kim_turnbull.”

Meanwhile, it’s claimed that Brooklyn will be following in the footsteps of his family with a tell-all series with streaming giant Hulu. A source told The Sun: “Brooklyn is keen. Alongside documenting his culinary business venture, Hulu bosses will hope he will open up about the bombshell rift with his parents.

“This isn’t just any platform. Hulu, which is owned by Disney, is home to global smash hits like The Kardashians. They’d be instantly propelled firmly into the big leagues and in direct competition with Netflix, which, of course, has its own Beckham ties, having run authored documentaries by both of his parents.”

The source went on to add that Brooklyn and Nicola have, in the past, turned down interviews, despite being offered “big money”. “When they do decide to speak, it will be on their own terms,” the source said, adding: “They also want to make it clear they are not being controlled by the Peltz family and that they make their own decisions.”

The Mirror has approached Brooklyn’s spokesperson for comment.
