In addition to the Indiana Fever offering a core qualifying offer to Kelsey Mitchell on April 7, the team has sent a restricted qualifying offer to Lexie Hull, according to the WNBA transactions log.
After Hull finished her four-year rookie contract with the 2025 season, this was an expected move by the franchise. By extending a restricted qualifying offer, the 2022 No. 6 WNBA draft pick officially becomes a restricted free agent.

As a restricted free agent, Hull can negotiate with other teams, but Indiana has the right of first refusal. If Hull signed an offer sheet with another WNBA team, the Fever would have the chance to match that offer and retain her for the 2026 WNBA season.
Hull started in 30 of her 44 appearances in 2025, taking over the wing spot full-time when Sophie Cunningham was injured in August. The 6-foot-1 guard averaged career-bests in points (7.2), rebounds (4.3), assists (1.8), and steals (1.2) per game. Hull shot 39.5% from the field and 36.7% from 3-point range.
Hull has played in 134 WNBA regular-season games and started 70.
