A new era of interactive play has officially arrived in Malaysia as Evolt XR launches its flagship immersive entertainment centre in Selangor yesterday, 7 April
This innovative concept aims to bridge the gap between physical entertainment and virtual environments, introducing a suite of high-tech attractions designed to transform how local enthusiasts connect and compete.
The debut marks a significant strategic shift for Evolt Karting, expanding from traditional electric racing into the rapidly growing sector of location-based immersive entertainment.

At the heart of this expansion is XR Go-Karting, a first-of-its-kind experience in the country that merges real-world driving with virtual reality (VR)

Players take the wheel of an electric kart while wearing a specialised VR headset, navigating digital landscapes and picking up power-ups in a blend of virtual and mixed reality.
The moderate pace, combined with the whimsical nature of the virtual track, makes it suitable for all ages, though drivers may want to avoid bumper-to-bumper racing.
Prices for the VR karting experience start from RM60 per session for Junior karts, and RM70 per session for Max karts.

Complementing the racing arm is XR Laser Tag — a fast-paced, multiplayer experience set within a futuristic sci-fi battlefield
Unlike traditional laser tag, this version accurately mirrors every physical movement made by the player in the digital game world, engaging participants in dynamic player-versus-player (PvP) combat.
Up to 20 people can join a 10-minute session, with each team having 10 players.

The game offers a multitude of power-ups and items, such as the combat shield, shotgun, grenade launcher, plasma launcher, and more, to keep players on their toes.
The attraction starts at RM30 per person, with the second game priced at RM25. For the third game onwards, the session costs RM20.
