The Chicago Sky acquired guard Jacy Sheldon from the Washington Mystics on ​Saturday in exchange ‌for a 2028 first-round draft pick.

Sheldon, 25, has averaged 6.3 points, 2.2 assists, and 2.0 ‌rebounds ​in 70 ⁠career games (43 starts) ⁠with the Dallas Wings (2024), Connecticut Sun (2025) and Mystics (2025).

“Jacy made an impression on us ​with her toughness, competitiveness and ability to compete ⁠on both ends ⁠of the court,” ​Sky general manager Jeff Pagliocca ​said. “She has proven to be ‌a great young player who can shoot the ball and defend in this ⁠league. Jacy fits what we are looking for seamlessly.”

Sheldon was the ⁠No. ‌5 overall pick ⁠in the 2024 ​WNBA ‌Draft by Dallas out ​of Ohio ⁠State.

Chicago opens the 2026 regular season on May 9th on the road against the expansion Portland Fire.
