It’s Bieberchellas all the way down. Geese did a cover of Justin Bieber’s breakout hit, “Baby” on Saturday at Coachella 2026. Justin’s headlining set was the literal main event of the day, but lots of other acts got to have some fun. Addison Rae wore a purple American Apparel hoodie in honor of Biebs and/or her own “Headphones On” video. But the most unexpected tribute was Geese, who added a snippet of “Baby” to their song “2122.” Does this mean those pop-goes-punk comp albums are coming back?
So far it’s been a big Coachella for covers. Besides Geese’s tribute to Biebes, we had Joost doing Crazy Frog, Sabrina Carpenter interpolating Barry Manilow’s “Copacabana” into “Feather,” and LA’s Bob Baker Marionettes doing their version of Ben Platt’s version of Addison Rae’s “Diet Pepsi.” What perverse delights will week 2 bring?
