Heather Servaty-Seib has been appointed Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education, Interim Provost David Boardman announced in an email to the Temple community Tuesday. She will replace Interim Vice Provost Emily Moerer beginning July 20.
Servaty-Seib has worked at Purdue University since 2000, most recently as senior associate vice provost for teaching and learning.
“I am confident that Heather will be a force for progress at our university,” Boardman wrote.
The office of undergraduate education develops academic programs and ensures that curriculums and academic policies meet university standards. The office works closely with the provost.
The university appointed Elizabeth Wentz as senior vice president and provost beginning July 1, The Temple News reported.
