Joanna Gaines‘s son could have a future as a golfer!
On Sunday, April 12, the HGTV host, 47, shared a rare video of her youngest son, Crew, 7, on Instagram as he hit the green and practiced his golf swing. In the caption for the post, Joanna poked fun at her son, saying he was imagining himself at the 2026 Masters.
“Pretending to be at the @themasters today ⛳️ 🏌️♂️.”
In addition to Crew, the Fixer Upper co-host shares daughters Emmie, 16, and Ella, 19, and sons Duke, 17, and Drake, 21, with husband Chip Gaines. Last June, Joanna shared a series of throwback photos on Instagram as she celebrated her son Crew’s 7th birthday. In the first shot, Joanna’s four other kids could be seen listening through her hospital room door before meeting their baby brother.
Another black-and-white shot showed Crew being born, as well as a sweet moment of Joanna holding her son while sitting in bed. Lastly, there was a photo of Crew in the center of all his siblings, wearing a onesie that read, “And then there were five.”
“Seven years ago today. Happy birthday to our beautiful little boy 🩵,” Joanna wrote in her caption.
Speaking with PEOPLE in January 2025, Joanna shared that she’s just loving watching her youngest son grow up.
“I just love watching him and how he moves throughout his day,” she said. “He’s always looking out the window, the first to notice something. He has the childlike faith like, ‘If I just look, I’ll find something.'”
She added, “A lot of us have that when we’re younger, but then I feel like we stop expecting wonder because we’re so busy. And he’s just inspired me to live like he does.”
While Joanna said she’s still grappling with how quickly her older kids became young adults, having a little one around is a blessing.
“With my older kids I feel like it all went so fast,” she said. “Having Crew makes me feel younger, and really anchors me. It’s been such a gift.”

In March, Joanna shared a sweet video on her Instagram as she recounted her family’s spring break vacation. In the video, Joanna and her husband could be seen spending time with their family as they went skiing and stayed at a mountain house.
In a few clips, several of the couple’s children could be seen in very rare appearances. They played card games, sat around a fire and went skiing as they enjoyed their time together.
“Spring break ’26,” wrote Joanna in her caption. “Card games for days ✔️ Skiing ✔️ Bowling ✔️ Fishing ✔️ Campfire-ing ✔️ (My oldest surprised me so all five of my babies were there 🤗😍🥹).”
