BAY CO., Mich. (WNEM) – The City of Essexville said more than two million gallons of partially treated sewage drained into the Saginaw River.
Officials said the 2.1264 million gallon outfall discharge from the Essexville CSO basin happened Wednesday, April 15 at 12:30 a.m.
The City is still waiting for results on water samples. The Department of Public Works will send a notification once the data is available.
