CHEBOYGAN, Mich. (WPBN/WGTU) — The water level at the Cheboygan Dam is 5.16-inches below the top of the dam, which is .24 inches lower since the previous measurement Thursday evening.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers reported the latest level Friday morning.

The level is below the 6-inches of topping the lowest point of the Cheboygan Dam Complex, which still means its at the Level 2 “set” stage.

Level 2 indicates a high probability of a need to evacuate.
