Four people were shot at Howe Community Park on Saturday night, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office.The investigation is taking place on the Cottage Way side of the park near the Home Depot, the sheriff’s office said.At 6:30 p.m., deputies responded to Howe Park on reports of individuals carrying concealed weapons. They then received a second call reporting a fight had broken out, deputies said. Upon arrival, the sheriff’s office noted that several hundred people were gathered in the park without authorization. Park officials contacted the sheriff’s office to break up the group, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office.Deputies surrounded the park and gave public address announcements for people to leave the area. It was at this time that deputies heard 20-25 gunshots.According to deputies, once they cleared the park, they located four separate victims with gunshot wounds. All victims were transported to the hospital in stable condition. The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office has not released any suspect details. This is a developing story.
