JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Sunny, highs in the upper 70s after a cold front pushed through Sunday afternoon. Skies will start mostly cloudy before becoming partly cloudy throughout the afternoon.
Breezy winds from the northeast will dominate in the 10-20 mph range, gusts up to 30, which will continue to keep the fire threats high. Relative humidity is expected to be critically low in the teens in southeast Georgia, 20% along US 301 inland northeast Florida.
Winds will decrease after sunset tonight, and cooler air will sink into the area, allowing the humidity to rise into the overnight hours.
There’s no rain in the forecast this week to provide any relief.
