SEATTLE — The Seattle Storm opened a new era Monday at 2026 Media Day at the BECU Seattle Storm Center for Basketball Performance, offering a first look at the upcoming season with a roster reshaped by a dramatic offseason.
The Storm’s media day came one week after the 2026 WNBA Draft, where Seattle made several moves that reshaped the roster. The Storm lost their top five scorers from 2025 — Nneka Ogwumike, Skylar Diggins, Gabby Williams, Erica Wheeler and Brittney Sykes — but added four draft picks: Awa Fam (No. 3), Flau’jae Johnson (No. 8 via trade), Taina Mair (No. 14) and Grace Vanslooten (No. 39).
