Many former San Jose Sharks players remain in the area following their NHL playing career.

Even players like Dan Boyle, who finished his career with the New York Rangers in 2016, still reside in the San Jose Area.

Boyle spent six seasons with the Sharks, playing in a total of 431 games. Now retired, Boyle will occasionally make an appearance at Sharks events. Most recently, Boyle participated in Joe Thornton’s Jersey Retirement Legends game.

A video has appeared on social media of Boyle participating in a recreational three-on-three adult hockey tournament at Sharks Ice San Jose. Although the NHL veteran of 1,093 games is known for his skating ability, Boyle was seen without skates on.

Boyle is seen checking up on the player he just decked. The reactions of those watching suggest everyone had a tremendous laugh at this.
