“This partnership with Telemundo is an exciting opportunity to bring Panthers football to even more households across the Carolinas,” said Kristi Coleman, chief executive officer of Tepper Sports & Entertainment and Carolina Panthers team president. “As the region continues to grow, we’re proud to strengthen our connection with Latino fans by making our preseason broadcasts more accessible than ever before.”
Telemundo’s Panthers broadcasts will be led by Carlos Ramirez, who joins as the play-by-play announcer. Ramirez previously spent ten years as a key part of the San Francisco 49ers Spanish-language pre- and post-game broadcasts. He has also called NFL games in Spanish for NFL Network, ESPN, and provided commentary for the Spanish-language broadcast of Super Bowl LVI.
“I’m honored to be part of this historic moment for the Carolina Panthers as we bring Spanish-language coverage to preseason games for the first time,” said Ramirez. “It’s a privilege to represent both the Panthers organization and our vibrant Hispanic community. My goal is to carry on the team’s tradition of excellence in Spanish broadcasting—now on a new platform—and to share my passion for football with fans across the Carolinas and beyond. I can’t wait to connect with Panthers fans this preseason!”
