SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Saturday, April 25 is National Drug Take Back Day and there are events around Central New York for people to get rid of unused medicine.
People can go to local grocery stores, sheriff’s departments, pharmacies and more to safety drop off prescriptions.

Tops Friendly Markets is also taking part in this effort with clearly marked disposable bins so customers can get rid of medications they no longer need.
