The WNBA’s Indiana Fever have reached a broadcast agreement with Federated Media’s “NewsTalk 1190 WOWO” Fort Wayne that will bring every game of the team’s 2026 season to listeners across northeast Indiana.

Under the deal, WOWO will air all 44 regular-season games as well as the entire postseason on 92.3 FM, becoming the first affiliate of the newly formed Fever Radio Network. The partnership places the Fort Wayne station ahead of other affiliates in markets such as Bloomington, IN and Louisville, KY.

Station officials said the agreement expands WOWO’s coverage of women’s sports while providing a consistent radio home for Fever fans in the region during a highly anticipated season for the franchise.

The Fever have drawn increased national attention in recent years, led by a roster that includes 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year Caitlin Clark, veteran guard Sophie Cunningham, All-Star forward Aliyah Boston and guard Lexie Hull. The team also added Raven Johnson, the 10th overall pick in the 2026 WNBA Draft.

WOWO Assistant Program Director Josh Williams said the partnership reflects growing local interest in the team.

“This exciting partnership reflects the increasing demand for Fever basketball across our region. We are excited to be the landing spot in our neck of the woods for fans to come and hear every game throughout the season, whether that be in their homes, cars or on their phones,” Williams said.

Broadcasts will include pregame coverage, live play-by-play and postseason games throughout the season.

Play-by-play announcer John Nolan will return for his second year calling Fever games. Nolan, a former Fort Wayne TinCaps broadcaster, said the arrangement is a strong fit for both the station and the team.

“We’re elated to bring Fever basketball to listeners in WOWOland. The Fever are the hottest brand in the WNBA with championship aspirations this year, while WOWO is an iconic and award-winning station, so this is a natural match. And personally, I’m so glad to be on the air again around the Fort Wayne area, which has a special place in my heart,” Nolan said.

Additional broadcast details, including special programming and events, are expected to be announced before the team’s regular-season opener on May 9.
