CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) – With part of the Charlotte region in “exceptional” drought and the rest in “extreme” drought, many cities, towns and counties have ordered mandatory water restrictions for residents.
The goal of such restrictions is generally to reduce water use by 5-10%.
Below is a list of those utilities and municipalities that have implemented the mandatory restrictions:
