ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) – The Paws for Mental Health event was organized by a local suicide prevention group called Tudor House.
They took over the field at Roanokeās Rivers Edge Park Saturday with different vendors sharing their own mental health resources.
The event included therapy dogs and family fun like bubbles and a bouncy house.
The goal of this event is to remind people of the resources in our hometowns and end the stigma surrounding mental health conversations and suicide prevention.
