Women’s basketball phenom Caitlin Clark has had her jersey purchased more than that of NBA legend LeBron James in the past two years.
Clark, who rose to national prominence while playing for Iowa, made her way into the WNBA in 2024 when she was drafted No. 1 overall by the Indiana Fever, and since then, sales of her jersey have soared. Clark’s Fever jersey is one of the top-selling WNBA jerseys on Fanatics.
“Clark’s jersey sales are higher than both James, the Los Angeles Lakers superstar, and his teammate Luka Dončić, who are ranked as third and fourth best sellers in an infographic shared by Boardroom and Bleacher Report on Wednesday, May 20, both citing Fanatics,” People reported. “Victor Wembanyama of the San Antonio Spurs comes in at five.”
James’ jersey is not exactly No. 1 among NBA jerseys, either. According to the NBA Players Association, Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry’s jersey has been the top-selling jersey during the 2025-26 NBA season. In baseball the No. 1 spot goes to Shohei Ohtani of the Los Angeles Dodgers, the NHL’s No. 1 seller is Pittsburgh Penquin Sidney Crosby, the Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen has the best-selling jersey in the NFL and the top MLS jersey goes to Lionel Messi.
