A man has been critically injured and four others have been hospitalised following an assault and stabbing in Sydney’s inner west.
It’s believed six men were at a park on Chapman Rd in Annandale about 10.45pm on Thursday when they were assaulted by four unknown men after an argument.
Police found the six men at the scene with various injuries, with one of the men suffering stab wounds.
The 21-year-old was taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in a critical condition.
Two other men were taken to the same hospital, while another two were taken to St Vincent’s Hospital.
The sixth man did not require hospitalisation.
Later that night about 12.15am on Friday police arrested a 15-year-old boy in Annandale about 12.15am.
He was taken to Newtown Police Station and no charges have been laid.
A large crime scene has been established at the park, with multiple helmets, a bike and a food delivery carrier left behind.
