Police arrested a Jacksonville man on 24 charges in connection to multiple breaking and entering offenses reported during the past few months in the area of Country Club Road.
With help from the community, the Jacksonville Police Department General Investigations Unit conducted an investigation that resulted in identifying David Allen Brinson, 43, of Jacksonville, as the suspect, said Sarah Sinese, JPD public affairs coordinator.
Brinson was found at a local hotel and arrested without incident.
He was charged with seven counts of felony breaking and entering, five counts of misdemeanor injury to real property, five counts of felony larceny after breaking and entering, two counts of felony larceny, two counts of felony possession of stolen goods or property, two counts of felony possession of burglary tools and felony safecracking, Sinese said.
Brinson is being held in the Onslow County jail without bond.
