The Democratic Republic of Congo’s (DRC) participation in the FIFA World Cup 2026 is in serious jeopardy after the White House issued a strict medical ultimatum due to a severe Ebola outbreak in the African nation. Andrew Giuliani, executive director of the White House Task Force on the World Cup, announced that the Congolese national team must maintain a strict 21-day health “bubble” in Belgium or they will be barred from entering the United States.
