AUBURN, N.H. —
A section of Hooksett Road in Auburn is closed after a 16-year-old driver crashed into a utility pole Thursday night.
According to officials, the crash happened after officers with the Candia Police Department attempted to stop the teenager for traffic violations just before 8 p.m.
Police said the driver refused to stop, leading to a pursuit.

Officials said the juvenile reached speeds of more than 100 mph, crossing into Auburn before leaving the roadway and crashing.
No injuries were reported, and the driver was taken into custody.
Utility crews are still on scene working to repair downed wires and the utility pole.
It’s unclear when the road will reopen.
The incident remains under investigation, and charges are pending.
