A water main break in Paterson, New Jersey is flooding the area near Hinchliffe Stadium.

The Passaic Valley Water Commission says crews responded to a 30-inch water main break Friday morning. It appears to be in the area between the stadium and the Passaic River.

Chopper is flying over the scene of the break, where lots of water can be seen rushing down a paved roadway south of the stadium. The water is being diverted into the woods and then down into the river.

The Passaic Valley Water Commission says customers in Paterson and in nearby Prospect Park may experience low pressure, discolored water or temporary service interruptions while the repairs are underway.

So far, there’s no word on what caused the break.
