Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs have reached the NBA Finals after three competitive series in this group’s first postseason run. They have been called out for their inexperience, but it seems it has not been a problem.

They are playing at a much higher level than people expected. After beating the defending champions, the Oklahoma City Thunder, in the Western Conference Finals, the Spurs are now in their first NBA Finals since 2014, but this time, with an entirely new group.

The Spurs are the inexperienced team in the NBA Finals because the New York Knicks have a lot of veterans. It will be a tough series for the Spurs because they know the Knicks are hungry for success.

Not only is this current Knicks team a tough matchup, but the fans will also be a factor. They are some of the most passionate in the league, and they are supporting the Knicks in their bid to win their first title in 53 years.

Despite all the talk about inexperience with the Spurs, it seems Wembanyama does not mind it. He wants to keep fighting for the Spurs’ claim for the championship, and he wants to keep aiming higher than before.

“I agree to be patient, but just to some extent. I think being impatient can be a virtue at times because all those greats have been impatient, and if you’re impatient 10 times, maybe 9 times you’re just gonna be impatient,” Wembanyama said on NBA Today to Malika Andrews.

“Maybe that one time is gonna make you do something that you were not supposed to do, make you play over your level, make you overachieve, and I think that’s a difference-maker between good and great.”

Wembanyama makes a great point because nothing should stop his ambition to win a championship. The Spurs have enough talent to be capable of winning a title, and he does not want inexperience to be the primary issue.
