Texas softball star Reese Atwood is moving on after rounding out her NCAA eligibility with the Longhorns. It hurts to see her go, but it was a treat to witness her sizable role with the program as it secured back-to-back national championships, with consecutive wins over former Big 12 rival Texas Tech.

“The most productive hitter in school history, Atwood finishes her career as the Longhorns’ all-time leader in home runs (74), RBIs (283) and slugging percentage (.729). She also served as a durable wall behind the plate for four years while helping power the Longhorns to three WCWS appearances and two national championships.”
